A new pastry shop opens in Milan: based on an idea by Alessandra Mion, wife of Ernst Knam, a designer boutique for small, beautiful and good sweets
We look forward to October 2, the day it opens to the public Mrs. Knam, the new pastry shop born from a dream of Alessandra Mion and Ernst Knam, after an update, together with her husband and professor Ernst Knam, during the confinement.
During the presentation of her project, Alessandra spoke of her passion for choux pastry and cream buns: «It's my favorite: that's why I thought about concentrating the proposal from Frau Knam (it's the name of her pastry shop and the brand, note from editor) on an assortment of cream buns: 24 different types, including 18 sweet and 6 savory. Some examples? Among the desserts, the classic vanilla and sabayon, among the salty Prague ham with mustard, apple gorgonzola, salmon with celery… «
I, who have seen and tasted them in the preview, can confirm the high aesthetic and gastronomic level: I admire in the photos the appearance of the cream puffs, which are distinguished from each other thanks to the small colored "button" at the top . It is a pleasure to imagine them assorted on a tray… Just like the half-sphere chocolates, or the small cannoncini.
Cakes for four, cookies, chocolate bars, spoon desserts (individual servings in small glasses) and other brand products also await you in the boutique. Mrs. Knam, as well as a selection of honey, hazelnuts, rice, herbal teas, infusions, candies and various kitchen items, including very useful sticks to spread the dough in a thin uniform layer.
The store was created with the support of the designer. matthew bruschi, to further highlight the pastry products on display, and is located right in front of the pastry shop of Ernst Knam, via Anfossi.
