Something in Post Malone's music doesn't immediately scream 70s Swedish pop, and yet a new mashup has made us think otherwise. YouTube blogger and musician Simon de Wit de Blanks recently shared a shocking video imagining what it would be like if Malone covered ABBA's "Dancing Queen."
Although the catchy lyrics remain unchanged, it is Blanks' voice and the entire production that gives the song a modern hip hop quality. The end result will make you realize how much fun it is to hear the line "feel the rhythm of the tambourine" sung on the autotune. The mashup comes shortly after Alicia Keys proposed her dream rendition of Malone's "Congratulations" at a festival appearance.
